Cos it's a bittersweet symphony, this life.

It's the long weekend, just one reason to pig out and bum around, sleep all day and stay up all night.

Trudi and I just had a major fight and we're okay now. It's cos last Friday I ventured all the way to Mandaluyong to buy him Beef Boreks in Persiana. The traffic was unbelievable. My task of wanting to lure him unto me (that doesn't sound right) was exhausting. I was able to deliver the grub to his pad at almost 8 in the evening. Getting back home was just as taxing. Anyway hard work paid off cos he found my "suitor move" sweet. I was having a great weekend until I heard news about my uncle getting involved in an accident in Palawan.

He died just this morning. I feel really bad for my cousins. Their dad was a good man. He was a doctor. He was supposed to go on duty that uneventful day, turns out that uneventful day became one of the most heartbreaking ones for my cousins, especially for my aunt. My mom, sister, and my other aunt would be traveling for Palawan on Friday/Saturday for the wake, and I can't come cos I have to go to school.

Life, it's a gift. You never know when it would be taken away from you.
Death, it's so final. It's a mystery that unfolds until you experience it yourself.

Tonight before I close my eyes I would be clasping my hands together in prayer.
So now it's a bit ironic for me to say this but

Live long and prosper.
