Falala-lala the late Christmas blah

I promised myself that I would post more often, but alas, other things swallowed me whole. Christmas day had been typical, I'm not complaining here, I'm just merely stating that even though I didn't get to wear a fancy outfit or received  tons of presents, i still was able to feel the Christmas spirit, more or less. Anyway I got this really pretty red blazer (along with a fab bag, a flimsy top, and cute ice-cream clad underwear) from my Mom and I practically wore it to almost every affair following Christmas day. I now have a decent blazer, yay! I should've wanted to receive an eyeshadow palette though, but hey, I love clothes and dressing up, yet as much as I want to splurge on clothes, I don't have the extra dough to do just that. My allowance is revolved around school papers, food, and fare for transpo. Plus I was just able to tutor my Japanese students for 3 hours a day for 2 days, AND on the 2nd day I received penalty codes for not getting online 30 mins before the class started, so all in all, my resulting income was not enough to even feed three people fast-food. Go figure.

My family and I were at Baguio last 27th of December until the 28th. I love the weather there! It was just the right kind of chilly, so I wore my favorite warm clothes. Trudi and his friends Jonette and Chino came too, and they stayed at Trudi's family's place. I was glad Trudi did come, so even if his best buds were there we still were able to spend quality time together. Baguio looked a lot different now. Hello overwhelming population, traffic, and  high crime rates! It was a good vacation though, it's not everyday that you get to relax far, far away from Manila. While at the bus terminal on our way home, guess who we saw... Armi Millare of Up Dharma Down! Cue fan girl dance! And there's more! She rode the bus we were on! Isn't that awesome?  It wasn't a fast ride home however cos we spent 8 hours warming our seats, thanks to the awful traffic.

Christmas is my most favorite time of the year. I don't know, maybe it's because of the cheery environment, the lights and sounds, the chaos of Christmas shopping, the colors, the flamingos(oh, there are no flamingos?).You just absorb everything, take it all in, and suddenly you feel good. It's ironic how it also brings back sad memories, but hey, Christmas will always be Christmas, and it's all about Him.

So I spent the night in a hospital.

To look after my Mom who suffered from gastroenteritis and dehydration. It was not a good night, nor it was a bad one, cos I was able to spend time reading A Game of Thrones and since then, I became hooked to the story. Anyway, Trudi was a big help keeping me company and running errands with me while my mom stayed in the hospital and delivered orders, since my sister was working in the office. Wow, I must be beginning to learn a lot about responsibility now, and If only I had a car I can do so much more.

Trudi had been a sweetheart and a gentleman all throughout my mom's stay in the hospital and I'm really grateful for that. So if you're reading this Darling, I love you very much.

5 Holiday Lipsticks

5 Holiday Lipsticks

These are all fab shades from Temptalia. I have Ruby Woo by MAC, but as much as I want to stick to the reds and pinks (I have already worn my hot pink holy grail lipstick to one of the Christmas parties I've attended) I would definitely try out wearing nudes this time. Hope I won't look too washed out though. :)
