Happy 23rd Birthday, Love.

So yesterday was my boyfriend Trudi's birthday! He's been celebrating his birthday with me for roughly 6 years now. Within that span of time I never really gave him jaw-dropping, best girlfriend award-worthy gifts like an Xbox, toys, or an AWESOME VADER AWESOME HELMET(cos it's that awesome). Every now and then I give him inexpensive gifts, small tokens of love like cool graphic t-shirts, or just anything which catches my attention. That's one thing I love about Trudi- he doesn't care that much about material things, well, except for that car he'd always so wistfully yearn for.

After the grueling Pharmacology class I headed to E. Rod to meet up with him and his friends, Jonette and Bruce.

Jonette, My birthday boy, Bruce
I love you, and a happy happy birthday to you, Darling.

Pick-me-up Friday

Yesterday I met up with Trudi. I didn't know it was Star Wars day until he told me, cos coincidentally, I was wearing my Star Wars top! How brilliant was that? He was wearing his Adidas Vader shirt I gave him for his birthday last year. We both love Star Wars. I've been watching all 6 movies since I was a kid, and Trudi, he started watching back in 2010 cos of his friends' influence. Now imagine how we looked while having dinner, with our matching SW shirts. Haha.
I paired my top with my pink Jack Purcell's, the only pair of sneakers I own. You see, I'm not the shirt-jeans-sneakers type of girl, but I wear jeans a lot, so I try different styles with those on. Trudi is one of the coolest guys on Earth, believe me, but when it comes to me dressing up, well, he's kinda picky. He's not really comfortable with me wearing short bottoms, so I got used to wearing jeans all the time. I sometimes get away with it, though. ;)

Awyea!
Anyway we had dinner at Bacolod Chicken Parilla, which is along Sct. Reyes. It's like Inasal, but the chicken's waaay better, and prices of the food are cheap. Also, the Kansi(an Ilonggo food which is a cross between Bulalo and Sinigang), our favorite, tastes wonderful. They also serve inihaw chicken parts like Baticolon(chicken gizzard) and Isol(chicken tail), among others. We ordered Kansi, Baticolon, and loads of rice. Yes, loads of rice, and no, I don't gain weight at all. It's always fun spending time with Trudi cos we always end up cracking up, and I ended up paying for the food. Brilliant Vader shirt-wearing-guy's brilliant.

It's Revenge of the Fifth today. Blip blop blip blip.

This is why I love sleeping so much

October 14, 2010

‘Cause I always have the most awesome dreams. Okay, when I woke up this afternoon I felt like going back to sleep. The dream I had was just plain amazing. To narrate what exactly occurred would be impossible, I’ve already forgotten some parts of it, but I’ll try my very best to sum it up in three words: Football, Dancing, and BRANDON FLOWERS. Oh my God, just typing his name made my heart skip a beat.

To the best of my ability I would try and describe what happened:

Since Trudi and I broke up almost 5 months ago, I kept having dreams about him, about weddings and wonderful dates at the beach. This dream I had about football, he was in it, only this time, he wasn’t the one playing on the field, it was me. He was cheering me on. It was raining cats and dogs, my legs were all muddy, and after the game he picked me (all wet and fugly) up in his arms and we went someplace only the deep recesses of my brain would know about. It was all too fucking sweet. Even in my dreams, I love him to death. *KILIG*

I missed dancing, so I figured that was why I dreamt I was rehearsing for some competition. Dreams can make you more talented, more spontaneous, more FLEXIBLE than you really are. I was break dancing, and I was watching myself do stuff I absolutely cannot do in real life. Like twisting my shoulder and leaning on my elbow for support while raising my legs in a way they were doing it in Step Up or You Got Served.

The third part of the awesome dream was about Brandon Flowers. I would’ve just died right then and there, and if I really did then they would report “bangungot” as the cause of my death. Yuck nakakahiya, even para sa kaluluwa ko. All because of Brandon Flowers, and how he was wearing black eyeliner, how he told me that The Killers has already disbanded, and how we kissed, passionately. Now I’m turning red.

My dreams put the AWE in awesome.

So I spent the night in a hospital.

To look after my Mom who suffered from gastroenteritis and dehydration. It was not a good night, nor it was a bad one, cos I was able to spend time reading A Game of Thrones and since then, I became hooked to the story. Anyway, Trudi was a big help keeping me company and running errands with me while my mom stayed in the hospital and delivered orders, since my sister was working in the office. Wow, I must be beginning to learn a lot about responsibility now, and If only I had a car I can do so much more.

Trudi had been a sweetheart and a gentleman all throughout my mom's stay in the hospital and I'm really grateful for that. So if you're reading this Darling, I love you very much.
