Suesh Makeup Workshop 2012

So last Saturday(May 12th) my good friend Tricia and I headed to ATC(Alabang Town Center) for Suesh's makeup sesh. We originally planned to reserve slots for the workshop at their branch in Greenhills(which has a bigger and prettier studio) but we were too late, the slots were already full, so we had no choice but to go for the Alabang branch. It was a good thing though, since it's been years since we last set foot in ATC, thus we were pretty much excited to explore the place once again.

We chose the Basic Workshop, which turned out to be, well, basic. Nevertheless, I learned some new techniques. It was not at all useless, given that I've already practiced makeup long before attending the workshop(thanks to YouTube videos!). It was well worth it, and it was so much fun playing with my new brushes! I settled on the all-black 16-piece toolkit which came with different-sized eyeshadow brushes, the dome brush, a flat top angled brush, and blush and powder brushes, among others. It doesn't have a foundation brush, but oh well, I won't be using it anytime soon. Our teacher, Suzzane Tan, had been awesome. Here's her profile posted on Suesh's Multiply site(http://suesh.multiply.com/):

Suzzane holds Certificates on Chief Trainer’s Training in Skin Care and Cosmetology from 2007-2009 in Tokyo, Japan, as well as a certificate of Cosmetology in the Center of Aesthetics Studies (CAS) in 2006.  She is the current Chief Makeup Artist and Marketing Manager for one of the top 3 Japan makeup brands.  She regularly holds training for Corporate Image enhancements and you can see her work on print magazines like Cosmopolitan, Metro, Mega, Lifestyle Asia, etc.

She may seem intimidating but she's actually really nice and approachable in person. And she's very pretty, too. :)

Here are the pictures I took from the workshop! Enjoy browsing!

Oh I just love our printed bottoms!

The package comes with a free palette! How neat is that!

Miss Suzzane Tan, who happens to be the cousin of Tric's loving boyfie, was the one who taught us the how to's.

Before and after pics!

Went to eat at a Jap resto called John and Yoko(HOMG, this resto's named after two of my favorite people in the whole entire universe!)

Behold, animal skin printed chairs! Just fab.

I love the combination of Aztec and Leopard prints! Unlikely, but, it looks real good!

That's a rap! We shall be opting for the Advanced Workshop next year! Ipon muna! Hehe.

Live long and prosper.

P.S. If you've visited the Suesh site you may have noticed this part right here:
The girl wearing the blue top's my Ate! She attended the workshop years ago and was lucky enough to have her photo posted on the site.
